Beginning Koine Greek

Beg KG

Koine Greek is the Greek language that was spoken from approximately 300 bc to 600 ad; it is the language that the New Testament was written in and almost certainly one of the languages spoken by our Lord and his apostles. In this course, we will learn alphabet and pronunciation, the first stages of Greek grammar, memorize verb and noun forms and many vocabulary words. The student should expect to be empowered in their Bible study through the proper use of better research tools, and  to be able to read some simple passages on their own by the end of the course.
